There has been considerable discussion lately on the topic of a second Scottish
Independence Referendum. Most commentators are agreed that a second Referendum
could not take place until there was a material change that is a major change
to the existing political circumstances. Such a change is now happened with
the victory of the Leave campaign in the Referendum on the membership of
the European Union which took place on the 23rd June 2016. As predicted
England voted to exit the EU while Scotland voted to stay leading to
the high probability of a second Independence Referendum within the
next two to three years.
